Baypoint is a group psl centered around a fictional apartment complex in Pacific Beach, San Diego and the people who live there. Nestled between Mission Bay and La Jolla, Pacific Beach is known for its scenic beauty and thriving night-life. Bars, clubs, restaurants, boutiques, and shops line the streets of Mission Drive and Garnet Avenue, while the boardwalk and beach provide the perfect background for any outing. Baypoint will only be open for holds until we gather a decent amount of writers, after which it will be converted into invite-only. The reason behind this, as well as the apartment setting, is to provide writers with a close-knit atmosphere, where they can feel comfortable developing their characters. Just like San Diego, we aim to be a laid back community, with frequent group activities and optional monthly writing challenges. Applying is simple; make sure your username is in character and without any numbers or underscores, upload at least one icon, in your journal make an in character friends only post, then make a separate screened post with your character’s basic info (name, age, occupation, apartment number) and finally post your application below. The rules are simple, no “god-modding” anyone's character unless given specific permission by their writer, do not cross the sacred OOC / IC line, and treat everyone respectfully. We will work on a two-strike system, meaning if you break the rules you will be given a warning. But if you break them a second time, you will be removed from the community. This includes bullying, name-calling, cliquing up, or any kind of offensive behavior. This community aims to be writing centric, but if you’d rather write your scenes behind customs, that’s completely fine. However, many of us miss the old days of rp, so there will be group threads and events that are posted in the main comm. We will also be offering optional monthly writing challenges, to get those creative juices flowing. There is a character limit, which is currently set at: 3 Usernames should be IC without any numbers or underscores. In order to apply all you need is a screened post with your character’s basic information, such as name, age, apartment number check here, occupation, and IC “spam” or “friends only” post. Activity checks will be done at the beginning of every month and you must have 1 thread with 8+ replies or a narrative with 300+ words, as well as 1 media post. about the apartments

Baypoint Apartments offers luxury studio and apartments at an unbeatable price in Pacific Beach. Since it’s close to the major freeways and the trolley station, it caters to students and businessmen alike. It’s also located only three blocks from the beach and within walking distance of stores, restaurants, shops, etc. The apartment complex consists of two buildings, which are all blocked together like a cube, with a seven ft. deep, fifteen ft. wide swimming pool centered in the middle. There is a laundry mat on site, as well as a fitness center and sauna. The studios come with microwaves, dishwashers, refrigerators, and murphy beds.
